We believe that theatre is an essential space and medium for communities to connect with each other and engage with different viewpoints and ideas. Now more than ever it is essential that we continue to build and protect unity, storytelling, and collaboration among people of all backgrounds & views.

COMMUNITY ENGAGMENT AND ACCESSIBILITY

We are committed to creating an accessible space. We ensure that finances will not stop anyone from engaging with theatre by setting aside free tickets at the door for every production. We seek to learn from our community and will adapt and grow as a company as we learn what is needed but both the artists that work with us and our audiences.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

We are committed to creating a welcoming, creative and inclusive space. We have demonstrated our commitment to gender fluid casting creating more roles for female, non-binary and transgender actors.

We actively cast with an eye to body and age diversity.

We have fostered and continue to develop relationships with members of the bipoc community and seek to diversify our leadership community.

Additionally, we work with emerging artists and young professionals cast and crew to expose them to professional theatre, ensuring that they get to work with talented seasoned professionals who excel in teaching and mentoring.

SUSTAINABILITY

We are committed to fostering a sustainable approach to creating productions. The majority of the materials we use for both costumes and sets are either donated, recycled or made from found materials. We also rent as much as we can to support other artists within our community.

ENTERTAIN, INSPIRE & UPLIFT

Ultimately our goal is to create highly entertaining theatre that reinvents the classics, tackles new works and developments. We want our audiences inspired, thrilled and uplifted by engaging with our productions.
